Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Owls Eye when you browse, search or click through to a partner.

Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Governed by the laws of Malta.

1. Acceptance

By accessing owls-eye.com you agree to these Terms of Use. They are governed by the laws of Malta, including the Electronic Commerce Act (Chapter 426) and the Consumer Affairs Act (Chapter 378). If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

2. What Owls Eye is — and is not

Owls Eye is a travel discovery and comparison platform. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotelier, car hire company or organiser/retailer of package travel within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations (S.L. 409.19).

We do not take bookings, hold client money, or issue tickets or vouchers. Every booking is concluded directly with a third-party provider on that provider's own website and under that provider's terms.

3. Third-party offers, prices and availability

Prices, availability, seasonal offers and images shown on Owls Eye are supplied by partners or generated for illustrative purposes and may change or expire at any time. They are an invitation to treat, not an offer capable of acceptance, and do not form a contract with us. Always verify the final price, inclusions, baggage, cancellation rules and taxes on the partner's checkout page before paying.

4. Affiliate relationships

We may be paid a commission when you click a partner link and complete a booking. This never increases your price. See the Affiliate Disclosure for details.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial travel research.
  • Do not scrape, mirror, data-mine or systematically extract content, or overload our infrastructure.
  • Do not misrepresent Owls Eye, submit unlawful content, or attempt to circumvent security measures.

6. Intellectual property

The Owls Eye name, owl-eye logo, design, layout, text and compiled data are protected under the Copyright Act (Chapter 415) and the Trademarks Act (Chapter 597). You may not reproduce or reuse them without our written permission. Partner brands remain the property of their owners.

7. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Maltese law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and for any loss arising from a partner's acts or omissions, from cancelled, delayed or misdescribed travel services, or from reliance on prices or availability shown here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory consumer rights under Maltese and EU consumer law.

8. Travel documents and personal responsibility

You are responsible for passports, visas, health requirements, insurance and entry rules for your destination. Owls Eye provides general inspiration — including road trip suggestions, which are ideas only and are not bookable through us.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site or these terms. Continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law, disputes and complaints

These terms are governed by Maltese law, and the Courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction, save for any consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own EU country of residence. Consumers may also refer disputes to the Office for Consumer Affairs at the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA) or the Consumer Claims Tribunal.
